Two-time Olympian, Shane Hamman, spoke to a group of children at SSB Kids summer camp this afternoon.
“What I wanted to do is just come right before the Olympics and talk to them a little about my Olympic experience and try to encourage them to accomplish their dreams," said Hamman.

He competed in the 2000 and 2004 summer Olympics, and he still holds every American weightlifting record in his class.
“It becomes your life. You have to dedicate everything to your sport to be in the Olympics," said Hamman.
He hopes to have inspired some of the young athletes at the camp.
“It was a great experience for all of them to see that there’s an Olympian right here in this town, and that’s something they can possibly do some day," said Priscilla Godi, the CEO of SSB Kids.
