The American Red Cross is stepping in to help after several counties experienced damage and outages due to the strong storms Thursday.
Eight different counties are on the list to receive assistance, says the Red Cross. The organization’s senior disaster manager says the first priority is helping those without power find a protective place out of the heat.
The group is also working on a list of cooling stations to visit, here are some in the Tulsa area.
