Starting in July, several County Health Dept. sites will be consolidated to accommodate anticipated budget cuts.
According to OSDH, the all the sites scheduled to close were only in operation for around three days a week or less. The company went on to say that the decision was made to assist clients by limiting travel distances by providing services in new locations.
The changes will help the main office to offer more services to clients, says the statement. Also, the employees affected by the cuts will be reassigned a new office or given new duties within the agency.
Below are the following sites expected to be consolidated as of July 1st:
- Creek – Drumright
- Garvin – Lindsey
- Harper – Buffalo
- Okmulgee - Beggs
- Okmulgee – Henryetta
