TPD to host senior safety event May 24

TULSA – Seniors in the community are welcome to attend the upcoming Senior Lifestyle Fair event designed to keep the elderly safe.

The Third Annual Senior Lifestyle event is scheduled for Tuesday May, 24 at the Central Park Hall at Expo Square from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Deputy police chief Dennis Larsen as well as Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett will open the event that begins with a breakfast.

Oklahoma Insurance Commission’s Ray Walker will speak with those interested and give advice on how to stay safe.

Additional speakers include Tulsa County Special Judge Terry Bitting and Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler. Topics discussed will range from senior safety, protection from scams, healthcare and life enrichment.
