Oklahoma Highway Patrol crews responded Friday after a semi truck hit a median on the Muskogee Turnpike this morning.
The single-vehicle crash was in the westbound lanes, approximately three miles north of the Coweta gate.
The inside lanes of the northbound and southbound lanes were blocked for about four hours.
Officials said the semi truck drive was headed northbound on the turnpike when for an unknown reason, the driver veered, struck the center barrier wall, got on top of it and went several hundred feet before coming to a stop.
No other vehicles were involved, and the driver refused medical treatment.
