TULSA - All lanes of I-44 westbound at U.S. 169 have re-opened after an accident between a semi and a car closed the highway early Monday morning.
A PT Cruiser was traveling westbound on I-44 when it spun out of control and was hit head-on by a semi, causing the 18-wheeler to turn over onto its side.
Both drivers were transported to the hospital but are expected to be ok.
Weather likely played a role in the accident.
