OHP: Semi overturned on I-40, hanging over Indian Nation Turnpike

UPDATE: Westbound I-40, Northbound US-75 lanes are now open in Okmulgee County, at mile marker 240 and all lanes of northbound US-75/Indian Nation Turnpike are also open near Henryetta following an earlier crash.


According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the Indian Nation Turnpike northbound lanes are closed due to a semi that is overturned on westbound I-40 until further notice.

The semi is partly hanging over the bridge, over the Indian Nation Turnpike.

At this time, traffic has been diverted to eastbound I-40.

Significant delays can be expected and drivers are urged to avoid the area or seek an alternate route.
