TULSA -- Tulsa Police are investigating after a security guard was shot and left in critical condition at a Midtown car wash Sunday morning.
Police say a group of men were leaving the Route 66 Event Center near 11th and South Sheridan around 4 a.m.
Officers say the men went to a white Mercedes that was parked at the car wash next to the event center.
According to police, a woman at the event center told a security guard that one of the men in the group took her property.
Security confronted the group and a fight started. One of the men then started shooting at security guards and hit one of the guards multiple times.
The suspect and his group fled the scene.
