TULSA — Mayor G.T. Bynum and the Mass Graves Investigation Public Oversight Committee will hold its second public meeting on Thursday afternoon.

The meeting will be held at Rudisill Regional Library at 1520 North Hartford Avenue at 5:30 p.m.

Bynum and the City of Tulsa are reexamining the potential of mass graves at three sites in Tulsa and established three goals for the reexamination: public oversight, historical context and the physical evidence investigation.

During Thursday's meeting, members of the Physical Evidence Investigation Committee will provide a detailed overview of the proposed investigation process to identify graves from the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The committee will also be seeking public feedback.

The meeting will be streamed live on the City of Tulsa's Facebook page.
