COLLINSVILLE, Okla. — The OKCM Search and Rescue Team is looking for a missing man with a learning disability from Collinsville.

They say 35-year-old Thai Yang was last seen on June 29 and was discovered missing the next day.

He is 5'4" and weighs about 140 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Volunteers with the OKCM Search and Rescue group say they had received a tip that Yang may have been at a Tulsa area homeless shelter, but they were unable to locate him.

"We would like for home and property owners throughout the area to check their barns, sheds, or other out buildings in case Mr. Yang may be attempting to take shelter in such a location," a spokesperson for the group said.

They say Yang may be reluctant to make contact with people. Although he is harmless and has never hurt anybody, they ask that if he is seen to please call 911 and attempt to keep him in sight until an officer arrives.

Mr. Yang was believed to have been wearing a hoodie, jeans and sneakers.

If you recognize him, please call 911 or the Collinsville Police Department.

Back in 2017, 2 Works for You reported about Mr. Yang missing after authorities issued a Silver Alert.
