OWASSO--Some schools were on lock down Friday morning in Owasso as police searched for suspects in the area.
That lock down was lifted just before 10:45am.
OPD is searching for a burglary suspect near the Greens Apartments at 86th and 129th.
Police are asking the public to please avoid the are if at all possible.
Police arrested one suspect; another fled on foot in the area.
Area schools have been placed on lockdown as a precaution only. Schools on External Lockdown include: 8th Grade Center, Hodson Elementary, 6th Grade Center, Mid High, High School, Friendship Pre-School.
