COFFEYVILLE, Kan. — A threat made at a Coffeyville high school caused staff to alert police and send a text to alert parents of the incident.
Parents reached out to 2 News Works For You and officials confirmed they’re investigating after someone left an ominous message on a wall at Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville, Kansas.
It said, “All we wanted was to fit in!!! 4 this you guys will pay!!!!”
Administrators said they didn’t place the school on lockdown, but they did contact law enforcement and officers are looking into the credibility of the threat.
