Webster officials said a student was arrested Thursday after bringing a gun to the school.
In a letter to parents, Webster Principal Shelly Holman said a student was in possession of a handgun on campus and due to the quick response by security and staff, the situation was handled immediately.
"We commend the students who saw something, said something, and helped us to act swiftly to keep our school community safe," Holman said.
Officials said the student was arrested and was booked into the Tulsa County Juvenile Center.
