Sapulpa Public Schools pushes start of school year to Aug. 24

SAPULPA — Sapulpa Public Schools is providing a choice from three learning options for the 2020-21 school year.

Sapulpa Public Schools announced August 14th that the first day of school is moving from August 20 to August 24. Students will have three 'instruction' options: traditional, virtual and hybrid.

Officials said students will automatically be enrolled into the traditional instruction option unless parents inform the district of otherwise.

TRADITIONAL INSTRUCTION

  • High-quality instruction
  • Access to highly qualified, certified teachers
  • Access to counselors
  • 24/7 access to grades in PowerSchool
  • Participation in school extracurricular activities
  • School-issued device provided
  • Access to campus services
  • In-classroom experience
  • Online and in-person instruction
  • All grades

VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION

  • High-quality instruction
  • Access to highly qualified, certified teachers
  • Access to counselors
  • 24/7 access to grades in PowerSchool
  • Participation in school extracurricular activities
  • School-issued device provided
  • Access to campus services
  • Remote experience
  • Online instruction
  • Access to Virtual Lab
  • K - 12th grades

HYBRID INSTRUCTION

  • High-quality instruction
  • Access to highly qualified, certified teachers
  • Access to counselors
  • 24/7 access to grades in PowerSchool
  • Participation in school extracurricular activities
  • School-issued device provided
  • Access to campus services
  • In-classroom and remote experience
  • Online and in-person instruction
  • Concurrent enrollment opportunity with TCC and Central Tech
  • 8th - 12th grades
