OKLAHOMA CITY - An Oklahoma City energy company company declared bankruptcy Monday amid the state's continued oil bust.
According to 2 Works for You sister station KFOR, SandRidge Energy Incorporated announced it filed for bankruptcy.
According to officials, the company lost $4.3 billion in 2015 as oil and as prices continued to plumet.
Stock prices for SandRidge also fell sharply within the last year, dropping 52 percent.
According to KFOR, the company;s day-to-day operations will continue as normal.
