SAND SPRINGS — Sand Springs Police Department is investigating after a homeowner shot a suspect in the leg.
Police say the suspect appeared to be breaking into the homeowner's car, and the homeowner shot the suspect in the leg.
The incident occurred near 5th and Maine on Tuesday.
Police are investigating to see if they will be arresting the suspect and homeowner.
Police say the suspect was taken to a local hospital to be treated.
