A police chase through Sand Springs Friday morning ended in an unusual place, a cemetery.
Just before 5 a.m., Sand Springs Police was chasing a stolen car, when the driver pulled into a mobile home park.
Police say he got out and ran into the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery located next door.
Officers, along with OHP responded, set up a perimeter, and began searching the area.
Due to the large size of the property, they were unable to locate the suspect, who was still believed to be hiding in the cemetery.
But officers say the suspect left his wallet and ID behind in the stolen car abandoned next door.
