Saint Francis Health System announced Tuesday the addition of a new 24-hour emergency care facility located in Glenpool, which becomes the city's first such facility.
The two-story, 49,000 square foot complex will be located at the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 75 and 151st Street South.
According to Lea Ann Reed, public relations for Glenpool, this facility will be the first of its kind in the city. A Google Maps search of the nearest emergency care providers shows Glenpool residents would have to travel to Sapulpa or south Tulsa for emergency care.
The new complex, which is expected to break ground this year, will offer ER services, diagnostic imaging and laboratory services, according to a press release from Saint Francis.
Additionally, the complex will house the Warren Clinic Glenpool primary care physician offices, mammography and bone density screening services and outpatient physical and occupational therapy services.
