TULSA, Okla. — An RV caught fire while driving down the highway near Sapulpa on Monday night, according to the Sapulpa Fire Department.

The driver of the motorhome was traveling alone with a Chevy Silverado towed behind him, fire officials said. A few moments after he saw the flames from the side mirror, officials said he quickly exited the highway and came to a stop at America's Best Value Inn near West Skelley Drive and South 45th West Avenue.

Officials said no one was hurt, but the RV and truck were completely destroyed in the fire.

Law enforcement officials told 2 Works for You that the driver is trying to find a hotel and rental car.

Fire officials are investigating how the fire started.
