TULSA, Okla. — NBA superstar Russell Westbrook is participating in a virtual Juneteenth block party from Tulsa tonight.

The event will feature several other entertainers, politicians and activists including, Sen. Kamala Harris, actor Alfre Woodard, comedian Baratunde Thurston, activist Dr. Tiffany Crutcher, "Watchmen" creator Damon Lindelof and more.

The block party is meant to "recognize the abolition of slavery in the United States and celebrate the culture of African American communities in Tulsa and around the country."
