TULSA, Okla. — The Route 66 Marathon in Tulsa is kicking off next weekend with more than 12,000 runners expected to participate.
The racing events will take place over the course of two days from a fun run and a mascot dash to a 5K and the marathon on Sunday.
It takes about 1,500 volunteers to make the event happen.
