A Roland woman died in a Thanksgiving Day crash in Sequoyah County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol says.
Sherry Cawhorn Christopher, 68, was pronounced dead at an Arkansas hospital, a collision report says.
The crash took place just after 4 p.m. on U.S. Highway 64 west of Muldrow.
A passenger, 66-year-old Thomas Christopher, also of Roland, was treated and released from the hospital.
Troopers say the SUV was eastbound on U.S. 64 when it left the roadway to the left, overcorrected to the right, came back on the roadway and left the right side of the road and overturned. The report says Sherry Christopher was ejected and neither occupant was wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the crash was inattention, according to OHP.
