Rogers County Sheriff's Office adds three women to mounted patrol unit

ROGERS COUNTY — The Rogers County Sheriff's Office introduced the newest additions to their mounted patrol search and rescue team.

Officials said Danielle Weavel, Sydney Eckhart, and Charlotte Teehee completed horse and rider evaluation and several other requirements to join the unit.

Along with joining the unit, the ladies also work other jobs: Weavel is a paramedic, Sydney is employed by PSO, and Charlotte is an accountant.

If you are interested in joining the Mounted Patrol Unit, tryouts are at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Summers Arena.
