ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. - A man was arrested Sunday morning after officials say he set his house on fire.

Deputies with the Rogers County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Black Jack Drive in Claremore where they say 49-year-old Louis Groves set his home on fire around 6 a.m.

According to deputies, both Groves and his wife were in the home when the fire was started in a back bedroom. Officials say ammunition exploded during the fire.

Fire crews had to wait to put out the flames until deputies restrained Groves, who was allegedly suicidal.

Groves' wife made it out of the home which fire officials say was a total loss.

Groves was arrested and is being booked into the Rogers County Jail for 1st Degree arson.
