TULSA, Okla. -- After months of investigating by the Claremore Police Department, a 66-year-old Collinsville man was arrested for two counts of lewd molestation.

Claremore police say it happened at the recreation center.

“There are little boys trying to figure out how to become men," Claremore police Sgt. John Singer said. “Taking them to the swimming pool and putting his hands where they don’t belong.”

Investigators say daily logs at the center show Bucklin was present three times, most recently June 1st. One all three dates, an adult pool pass, and juvenile pass were purchased.

“Bucklin serves in a mentoring role to little victims in Claremore that he met through his church so informally he took on a mentoring role to build a relationship with these victims," Sgt. Singer said.

Law enforcement says Rogers County isn't the only place where Bucklin molested young boys.

“Bucklin had fondled little boys at places in Tulsa County both at his home in Collinsville and elsewhere," Sgt. Singer said.

Investigators say Bucklin bought the victims presents to entice them and make them feel comfortable.

“Someone who has the desire to molest little boys is going to continue finding other victims until they’re stopped," Sgt. Singer said.

2 Works for You went to Bucklin's house. He was outside talking to a neighbor but declined to do an interview.

His bond was set at $50,000.

“Faces the potential to go to prison," Sgt. Singer said.

The victims are related. Investigators are urging others with stories to come forward.
