ROGERS COUNTY — Rogers County Sheriff's Office deputies are issuing a warning to citizens about a phone scam.
Officials said a phone scammer is pretending to be a member of the sheriff's office and is calling residents, claiming they have an outstanding warrant for their arrest, and demanding payment.
The scammer is even using a spoofed sheriff's office phone number.
If you get a call like that, hang up and call the court clerk's office.
