Rogers County Deputies responded to the area of 18000 E. Hwy 28 Expy in the Foyil area for reports of a motor vehicle accident with injury.
The driver, Ashley Blizzard, and a two-year-old were in the vehicle when deputies performed a traffic stop.
The two-year-old was not in a car seat or any form of child restraint.
Deputies were able to determine through a field sobriety test, that Blizzard was under the influence of drugs.
When Blizzard was placed under arrest, the deputies saw that the child was standing on a broken device used for smoking methamphetamine.
Through the investigation, deputies learned that Scott Blizzard and their eleven-year-old son attempted to stop Ashley from leaving the residence in the vehicle.
When the eleven-year-old attempted to grab the steering wheel, Ashley started to drive forward which knocked the son to the ground.
The eleven-year-old told Scott Blizzard that Ashley ran over his hands.
Ashley Blizzard was arrested by Rogers County Deputies on charges of child abuse, child endangerment, possession of a controlled substance in presence of a child, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
