ROCO Sheriff: Law enforcement agencies investigate deputy-involved shooting

OOLOGAH, Okla. — Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton said OSBI is in Oologah investigating a deputy-involved shooting.

Sheriff Walton said a call went out around midnight to assist Oologah police about a son chasing his father with a screwdriver.

Walton said the son barricaded himself inside a home, but then charged and struggled with a deputy over a gun.

Walton said two shots were fired and the deputy suffered a superficial wound to the side.

The deputy was treated and released from a local hospital, Walton said.

Walton said the son was taken to the hospital.
