City of Tulsa crews are treating bridges and hills in the area as freezing drizzle falls.

Road conditions in Tulsa are being reported as "fair" as of Tuesday afternoon, but slick spots are possible, city officials said.

EMSA crews have responded to 19 crashes related to road conditions. In those crashes, nine people have been taken to area hospital in non-emergent condition.

EMSA officials said the majority of the Tulsa area wrecks were on or near the IDL and Keystone Expressway, mostly on on ramps and elevated surfaces.

I-40 eastbound at mile marker 227 in Okfuskee County is blocked Tuesday night due to icy roads, officials said.

Oklahoma Department of Transportation officials said roadways in Tulsa, Okmulgee, Muskogee, Love, Bryan, Marshall, Latimer, Pittsburg, Coal, Johnston, Okfuskee, Pontotoc and Seminole counties are being treated.

Drivers are urged to use caution during their evening commutes.
