TULSA – One person is pronounced dead while another fights for their life Friday following a two vehicle wreck.
Police say traffic was slowed near 54th Street North and Lewis around 2:30 p.m. where a red truck had been struck.
The driver of the vehicle, which was a white Nissan, that hit the truck reportedly exited another wreck scene at 51st and Peoria not long before this wreck.
The driver of the red truck had to be cut out of his vehicle when emergency crews arrived. He was pronounced dead at the hospital while the passenger in his vehicle remains in serious condition. The driver of the white Nissan suffered from minor injuries and is still being treated. Officials will also conduct a toxicology report on the suspect.
Police say the driver of the white Nissan could face multiple charges including manslaughter.
The road ways were shut down as officers investigated the scene.
