TULSA — Controversial right-wing commentator Milo Yiannopoulos says he will no longer be speaking in Oklahoma, he said in an Instagram post.
"I regret to announce that my sponsor for the Oklahoma events has failed to produce the funds needed for the events, and left me in debt to designers, lawyers and admin staff," he wrote on Instagram.
It was announced earlier this year that Yiannopoulos might speak at Tulsa Community College after a facility rental request was made.
TCC school officials had said they received a facilities rental request from Transparency for Oklahomans, who wanted to use TCC's Southeast Campus' Performing Arts Center for Education. The event possibly would have featured Yiannopoulos, who is the former editor of Breitbart.
