TULSA, Okla. — A vacate order has been issued for resident's of Chateau 68 apartment complex in south Tulsa.

The complex is not up to code, because of an issue with the boiler, according to the Tulsa Health Department.

Due to no heat, residents are unable to use cooking appliances and stay warm at the complex.

Officials say residents will be allowed to stay tonight as Air Comfort Solutions works to fix the problem.

"As long as the company is working on the issue and as long as the inside temperature remains above 65 degrees, residents can remain in their homes," said Leanne Stephens, marketing and communications director with the Tulsa Health Department. "Our Environmental Health Services program has been working with the apartment complex for several months on this issue and we hope the repair company is able to get this fixed so that residents have safe and adequate heat as required by the International Property Maintenance Code."
