Officials said the water line was installed early in the 20th century.
Construction will begin Thursday on 21st Street at Owasso Avenue and east of Peoria.
Officials said that next week, it is likely that one lane in each direction will be opened at 21st Street, with access to turn north on Peoria. Officials said the entire project is estimated to last four weeks.
