OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. — A large sinkhole on State Highway 10 in Osage County has closed roadways in the area.

Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews say the road caved in Monday after rain came through. East and westbound lanes are closed.

State Rep. Judd Stromm sent us the photo of the sinkhole near Hulah Lake.

ODOT officials say the hole is from where an old metal pipe ran under the road.

Repairs are underway on Tuesday, and officials say the road may reopen Wednesday. Crews plan to redo the asphalt at a later date.
