Reading Partners and the Tulsa-Area United Way's Women United group teamed up for a special event on Friday to help Green Country kids learn to read.
On National Reading Day, volunteers tutored young readers at Sequoyah Elementary.
Reading Partners hopes to recruit 200 more volunteers to help students through the end of April.
