The Ray Harral Nature Center in Broken Arrow celebrated it's ten year anniversary today with food and refreshments.

In addition, some new Dogwood trees were planted near it's outdoor classroom.

It's something the Nature Center's supervisor said had a special meaning.

John Darling, the Nature Center supervisor, tells us "we knew we wanted to have something the kids could come back and see, the impact it's had and I thnk planting trees is the perfect opportunity to do so."

The Nature Center is located near 121st Street and Elm, behind Spring Creek Elementary.
