Quinton Police Chief fired by city council, accused of falsifying work hours

City council members in Quinton, Oklahoma have decided to fire the town's police chief.

Monday, during a city council meeting Chief Joe Watts was fired. The council voted to fire Watts after accusing him of falsifying work hours, giving false information to superiors and coercing officers to falsify bank records.

Assistant Chief Billy Dickson is acting as chief of the police department.
