NORMAN, Okla. -- A wild high-speed pursuit that began in Oklahoma City on Friday morning ended in Norman after a PIT maneuver by Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers.

KFOR reports that at about 10:30 a.m. on Friday, officers attempted to pull over a maroon sedan near Interstate 40 and Portland Avenue.

However, the driver sped off and refused to stop.

The chase went through southwest Oklahoma City, to Moore and eventually Norman.

The driver headed south on Highway 9 in Norman, when troopers hit him with the PIT maneuver, which caused the vehicle to go airborne and roll.

The driver and two other people were pulled from the vehicle.
