WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. – Over 5,000 customers were temporarily without power Thursday.
According to PSO, around 9:45 a.m. a transmission line “locked out,” or the power quit flowing causing the outages.
The issue affected the substation near 71st street and 237 East Ave., Broken Arrow. PSO was able to restore power to all affected in Broken Arrow before noon.
The company said the latest update around 10:20 a.m. showed that over 4,100 were restored.
They went on to say that all power outages should be fixed by 1 p.m.
