TULSA – More than 2,500 customers reported being without power Wednesday due to fallen tree limbs, according to PSO.
The Public Service Company of Oklahoma reported 2,513 customers were affected by the outage that occurred around 10:15 a.m. on July 6.
A PSO spokesperson said initially that the outage was caused by advertising balloons that were tangled in a utility line near 91st and Memorial. Not long after, however, they discovered it was actually because of tree limbs that fell onto power lines.
