TULSA - Power has been restored to hundreds of midtown customers amid cold temperatures Saturday, says the Public Service Company of Oklahoma.

Power was restored to the more than 1,500 customers just after noon Saturday. PSO says the power outage was caused by an equipment failure at an underground service area near Pine Street and Peoria Avenue.

It wasn't immediately clear if the falling temperatures are what caused the equipment failure, according to PSO.
