OWASSO, Okla. - Prosecutors dropped a murder charge against one of three suspects in a shooting death of a Sperry man.

Prosecutors believe they don't have enough evidence to convince a jury that Antonio Pruitt is guilty of murder.

They say they know Pruitt was at the Kum & Go with Jacob Pepper and Michael Hatcher when Pepper shot and killed Emmett Wood in July.

Police say Pepper pulled a gun on Wood and demanded money. The two men struggled and Pepper shot Wood.

Pepper and Hatcher still face first-degree murder charges.
