TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Prom season can empty many teens pockets, so this year one group is lending a helping hand.
“Prom on a Penny” is an event hosted by Northeastern State Univ. UC Underground to help teens who are celebrating prom on a budget.

Dresses and accessories will be sold for $10 or less at 600 N. Grand Avenue on March 10 at 5 p.m.
Proceeds will be donated to Help in Crisis and stand-alone donations will be accepted as well.
