It's a day off from work and school for many people on this Presidents Day.

We found some fun facts about the holiday.

Presidents Day officially became the third Monday in February back in 1968, thanks to the "Uniform Monday Holiday Act."

However, it was first established in 1885 in honor of George Washington's birthday.

It will be his 288th birthday on Saturday.

Later, it was decided it would also celebrate Abraham Lincoln's birthday, which was last week.

"Honest Abe" would be 213 years old.
