TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- President Barack Obama's new drug czar is visiting Oklahoma this week to announce a plan to equip U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs officers with a special drug to treat drug overdoses.
Michael Botticelli will host a community forum and press conference Wednesday at the Indian Health Care Resource Center of Tulsa.
The visit is part of an effort announced by Obama in October to address the prescription drug abuse and heroin epidemic.
