TULSA -- A pregnant woman was killed by a suspected drunk driver.
Family identified 24-year old Areale Louie as the victim of the crash at 500 W Apache Street Sunday.
Police arrested 25-year old Gabrielle Dennis on a complaint of first-degree manslaughter for her death.
Officers said Dennis ran a stop sign near the exit ramp onto Apache from the Tisdale Parkway. They say Louie was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dennis' blood alcohol content was .18 at the time of the crash, according to Tulsa Police.
The suspect was also arrested for driving under a suspended license. Court records indicate she has been ticketed for this before. Her most recent ticket was at the end of February.
The Department of Public Safety could not tell us why Dennis' license was suspended in the first place.
She was booked into Osage County Jail but has since bonded out.
Louie's due date for her baby girl was in September.
She had attended the veterinary technician program at Tulsa Community College and planned to go to vet school after she had her baby.
At the time of the crash, she was employed at a local vet clinic.
Her family and friends are holding a balloon release in her honor near the scene of the crash on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
Her funeral is Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan Church in Tulsa.
