Power outages stretch into fifth day for more than 2,000 customers across Green Country

For thousands across Green Country, life without electricity stretches into a fifth day following a line of powerful thunderstorms last week.

As of 5:30 a.m. Monday, nearly 850 OG&E customers remain in the dark. The majority are in Muskogee County.

Lake Region Electric Cooperative, which covers customers in Cherokee, Mayes, Muskgoee, Rogers and Wagoner counties, reports nearly 1,700 outages.

More than 120 East Central Oklahoma Electric Cooperative customers remain without power, according to the company's last report issued Sunday at noon.

PSO reports all of its customers have had their power restored.
