UPDATE: power restored in Claremore.
CLAREMORE--A large portion of the West side of Claremore is experiencing a power outage.
City of Claremore says that lines burned down and caused a huge electric fire on the lines that traveled all the way back to the substation and tripped the substation.
GRDA is on scene to check their components before they energize the substation again. The cause is not known at this time.
