UPDATE:
PSO now telling 2 Works for You all power has been restored to thousands of customers in south Tulsa.
We are told crews have repaired a transmission line that was locked out, meaning it was not receiving energy that feeds a PSO substation near 81st and Yale.
The power went out around 6;38 and was restored at 8:01 this evening.

PSO is reporting that nearly 9,000 customers are without power this evening.
The company tell 2 Works for You they don’t know what’s causing the power outage, but they believe it started around 6:38pm.
According to PSO's outage map customers affected are between Harvard and Memorial just south of 71st street.
