STROUD, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the Turner Turnpike between Oklahoma City and Tulsa has reopened.

The OHP says the turnpike reopened at 8:40 a.m. Monday after being shut down for just more than an hour between Stroud and Bristow because smoke from a grass fire reduced visibility to zero.
The area is about 60 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
